Anthony 'Happe' Kotowicz
Welcome to a one-stop shop and online portfolio for all my creative endeavours.
I am a self-taught artist who enjoys various styles of illustration and design. My influences are the likes of Osamu Tezuka ('Astroboy'), Chuck Jones & Ken Harris (Warner Bros. 'Looney Tunes' cartoons), Glen Keane ('Beast' from Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast'), Jhonen Vasquez ('Invader Zim') and Skottie Young ('I Hate Fairyland').
My Children's Book writing style is influenced and inspired by authors such as Julia Donaldson, Rob Biddulph and Aaron Blabey. I am an aspiring author with hopes, dreams and wishes of becoming a Multi-gazillionaire from the sales of my many yet-to-be-published books.
I am a father to a beautiful and equally silly little girl; a black belt in Silliness; a master Nick-namer and a self-proclaimed Super-Geek! My passion for pop culture, film and animation led me to pursue exciting and colourful creative career choices. My naturally excitable and silly personality inspired my nickname, 'Happe', and led me to an extensive career working with and being inspired by children.
In 2014, I registered the trademark, 'Happe', and I apply it to all my creative endeavours.
